One of the most asked questions we receive about rhinoplasty is, “Does it hurt? What will the pain be like after the procedure?” After talking to many patients who have gone through this surgery, the pain is incredibly tolerable! Some use prescription pain relief for a few days and then switch to an over the counter pain reliever. However, a large majority of patients feel they don’t even need the prescription pain relief! Of course, the nasal area will be quite sensitive and swelling does take time to fully go away, but most are pleasantly surprised at how easy the recovery period is!
