Facial Plastic surgeons often show pictures of patients after all the swelling and bruising have gone down. This makes sense because it’s the final result that people are most interested in. However, patients are also very interested in how they’ll look in the early period after their face/neck lift. These before and after pictures are taken 12 days after this patient extended deep plane facelift as well as deep neck lift. You can see that she still has some bruising and swelling and that her incisions are in the early stages of healing. These pictures were taken directly after stitches were removed. Even at this early stage, the patient is thrilled with her result and I can see we are on a glide path to a beautiful and natural appearing rejuvenation.
