This very kind healthcare professional approached us when she was 25 years old with several concerns about the appearance of her nose.
Frontal:
Left Oblique:
She had a number of concerns:
• Her nasal dorsum was high, especially when she smiled. She didn’t like the profile view when she smiled because of the dorsal hump and the way the tip appeared to drop down.
• The blunted nasal spine (the area where the nose meets the upper lip on the profile view). This area looks better if there is more of a clean border between the upper lip and the nose, rather than a curved border she had.
• She had a somewhat bulbous nasal tip that hung down (it was under-rotated) even when she was not smiling.
Left Lateral:
This patient had a number of complaints:
These pictures are shown 18 months after her operation, so all significant swelling has resolved. As you can see from her pictures, she has a much more elegant nose that harmonizes with her face nicely. Her dorsum now has a lovely curvature, especially on the profile view when she smiles. The nasal spine area is less blunted and no longer appears to consume part of her upper lip. Finally, her tip is slightly more rotated and has a less bulbous appearance.
Right Oblique:
This lovely and down-to-earth lady got a big boost to her self-confidence from her rhinoplasty result and is thrilled she had the surgery. I’m so happy we were able to help her with her goals.
