This Pittsburgh rhinoplasty patient presented with several concerns about the appearance of her nose. She was bothered by her high and slightly crooked dorsum, bulbous tip, and drooping tip. Her goal was to create an elegant, proportional, and natural appearing nose. Please see the associated video in which I explain my approach towards this patient’s rhinoplasty procedure.
Frontal:
From the frontal view the patient has achieved a much more elegant and feminine outcome. Her tip is more refined and less wide, without being pointy. You’ll note the tip is slightly rotated upward (please see the video for details). Her brow tip aesthetic lines, in other words the curve on the along the sides of her nose is improved.
Frontal:
This smiling frontal picture shows how the tip maintains its elegant appearance on smiling, it doesn’t widen and twist to the same degree as in the before picture.
Lateral:
These lateral pictures show the reduction in the height of her nasal dorsum, while maintaining a very natural appearance and a health nasal airway. You’ll also note the modest upward rotation of the nasal tip and the improved definition of the area where the nose meets the upper lip (please see video for more details).
