Many younger patients benefit greatly from tear trough injections with the microcannula technique. This Pittsburgh area Tear Trough patient shows her before and after pictures – immediately after completion of her tear trough treatment. Please note that she has no bruising at all. The tiny red puncture sites will resolve in less than a day. The small pale areas of skin are from the local anesthetic that was injected prior to the treatment. This approach with a droplet of local anesthetic makes the treatment incredibly comfortable, reduces bruising, and makes the procedure safer – a much superior approach than topical numbing cream.
