This blepharoplasty patient from Pittsburgh was very bothered by the excess skin on her upper eyelids and her fat pad herniation below her lower eyelids. I addressed these concerns with an upper eyelid blepharoplasty and lower eyelid transconjuctival blepharoplasty. Transconjunctival means that the excess fat was removed from behind the lower eyelid. This is safe and effective way to remove excess fat, while minimizing the amount of surgical manipulation of the lower eyelid. Additionally, some excess skin was removed from the lower eyelids. She was very pleased with the result.
