This blepharoplasty patient from Pittsburgh was unhappy with the appearance of her upper eyelids. She told me that she is possibly interested in a facelift in the next several years, but is not quite ready to take on this more substantial surgery. This is a fairly common scenario – a patient who chooses to go ahead with a smaller surgery (that can be done in our office surgical suite) like blepharoplasty, reserving the decision for a more substantial surgery for a later date. She was very happy with the result of her upper eyelid lift. If she elects to go forward with a facelift in the next 5-7 years, she will not need an upper blepharoplasty at that time.
